Sweet & Tangy Brussels Sprouts
This flavorful recipe combines sweet and savory for a tangy dish that can be a filling entrée salad or a side dish for everyone at the table.
Ingredients
- 16 medium brussels sprouts (305 g), halved or quartered, stems removed
- ½ Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- ¼ cup (40 g) dried cranberries
- 2 tsp coconut butter
- ½ tsp chili powder
- Juice from 1 lime
- ¼ tsp salt
Directions
- In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add brussels sprouts and sauté for 5-7 minutes or until softened.
- Add in maple syrup, dried cranberries, and coconut butter. Sauté for 3-4 more minutes.
- Whisk together chili powder, lime juice, and salt.
- Pour chili lime seasoning over the brussels sprouts, and finish sautéing for 1-2 more minutes. Serve immediately.
