Cauliflower Hot Bites

These low protein bite size cauliflower appetizers/snacks are a great idea to serve guests on big game days. Great for people with PKU or anyone who follows a diet low in protein.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium-sized (588 g) cauliflower, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup (113 g) buffalo hot sauce
  • 1 Tbsp melted butter

Directions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Place the cauliflower into a bowl. Gently toss in oil and garlic powder to coat.
  • Spread the cauliflower onto a baking dish.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, turning once.
  • Combine the buffalo sauce and butter into a small bowl.
  • Once baking is finished, remove the cauliflower from oven. Pour the buffalo sauce mixture over the cauliflower and toss to coat.
  • Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes.
