At Nutricia, our top priority is to provide the best-in-class products to support the metabolic community. We are thrilled to announce some exciting changes to our PhenylAde®, GlutarAde®, and Complex MSD® products that will help us serve you better and ensure a reliable supply.
What’s Changing?
Starting in November 2024, you’ll notice some updates to our products, including:
- New Product Codes and Pack Sizes: While the product codes and pack sizes will change, there will be no changes to HCPCS codes (see chart below).
- Ingredient Updates: We’re introducing alternative sources of some ingredients, such as vitamins, minerals, and DHA.
- Nutrition Information: There will be slight, clinically insignificant changes to some nutritional details.
- No Artificial Colors: We are removing colors from artificial sources.
- Inclusion of Soy Fiber: Soy fiber will be included in PhenylAde® GMP Drink Mix, PhenylAde® Essential, Complex MSD® Essential, and GlutarAde® Essential.
- Scoop-Free: To put a little less plastic in the world, we are removing the scoops. Check out our chart below for household measurement equivalents.
When Will These Changes Take Effect?
The updated products will start hitting the market from November 2024 through March 2025, as we phase out the current stock. We understand how important consistency is for you, so we have worked hard to minimize any taste changes. We do not expect any significant differences in taste.
